Turmeric golden milk recipe

To help promote recovery, try this recipe in the evenings after a hard workout. Turmeric boasts anti-inflammatory properties that can help heal damaged tissues, decrease fatigue and regulate blood sugar. These are all good things to help you prepare for the next day's run. Plus, it is soothing and delicious. 





​-Place 1.5 c milk in a saucepan
-Add 1tsp turmeric
-Add 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, 1/4 tsp ground ginger and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
-Add tbsp coconut oil
-Bring to boil and then allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes
-Strain into a glass 
-Optional: add cinnamon stick
